I watched this show Saturday afternoon. I don’t know what it was called or what chanel it was on. It was about this woman, her husband and two girls. The woman’s mom came to live with them to help out with the kids. In the show they re-did the grandma’s cottage, the girls room and cooked a few dishes. They made a closet with pipes in the grandma’s room and painted a cool wall in the girls’ room with magnetic paint and dry erase paint. Do you know the name of the show?

This saturday me and my GF are going to NYC. Taking the train into grand central. Then go to central park zoo, walk down 5TH avenue, take the staten island ferry. I want to take her to either metropolitan museum of art or Modern museum of art or Guggenheim( any tips). Maybe head over to the rockefeller plaza. Time square. Walk across the brooklyn bridge. I am going to take her somewhere nice but affordable like the hard rock cafe( should i reserve ahead?). And then head up to the empire state building to watch the sunset. Is this to much for just one day? Any tips for being a first time visitor? I want this to be very special since it is our first time going somewhere nice and all she knows is that we are going to NY. ALL the help is greatly appreciated.

There are two men on top of the empire state building, one looking over the side the other mooching around a bit back.
A french tourist comes sauntering over next to the first man, “gee ya know that smog looks so thick, I’ll just bet you could jump off and it would bounce you right back up again.” Says the man to the tourist.
“Non ces imposable” says the tourist.
“Really ya think so? Just lemme show ya,” And with that he jumps off. Only to bounce back up on to the top again.
“Ces’t Mannifique.” Exclaims the french guy, and he immediately jumps off as well, only to fall to the ground with a sickening crunch.
The silent guy in the back shakes his head, but says nothing. After a while another tourist comes wandering over and the exact same thing happens again. After whitnessing this for the fourth time, the silent man has had enough. He marches over to the first guy, and shkes his head then he says. “Ya know what super man you can be a real b****rd!”

My cousin and I are staying in Rutherford, NJ, obviously because the prices are cheaper. We have one FULL day left and there is STILL A LOT to see. I want to do this efficently and more planned. We defintely want to go to:
Statue of Liberty
Time Square
Central Park (especially a resturant called “Tavern on the Green”)
Ground Zero
And to add to that if we still have time to Little Italy and Chinatown, maybe even to SOHO.
We don’t quite have a budget.. but we would like to save.
We take to bus from Rutherford to 40th and 8th street in NY.
From there we would like to know where we should go first, second, third, fourth, etc and what is a easy way of doing it?
Any sugguestions?? This will help our trip a lot and save time…
P.S We already went to see the Empire State Building today..

All he seems to do all day is grunt like Tim Allen and throw tools at me. Also, he calls me Al. Any ideas on how to change my situation.

For a 6 night stay from 18 Dec-24 Dec for me and my 16 year old son. Will be second trip this year, last time stayed in Financial District. Staying at the Broadway Plaza Hotel, 3star rating from Expedia and 4.0 out of 5/85% of travelers would recommend hotel, comes w/continental breakfast, newly remodeled small hotel, 6 blocks from Empire State Building, 4 blocks from Flatiron, direct flight on JetBlue, City Pass, tour of Rockefeller Center, Top of the Rock. The price is $2930 total for both of us. Or should I wait longer to book? Trip has not been booked yet. Thank you all!

Alright, so I might be going to Washington D.C. this summer for a school trip, and I’m wondering if I should really go or not? It’s a total of $2,510 dollars, but it also includes a nice hotel, airflights, about 20 places to go to total, all food costs, a tourguide, health insurance, night hotel chaperones, transportation costs, and such. The money also covers a trip to New York. We get to go to Chinatown, Little Italy, Wall street, Central Park, Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, NBC studio, and a BROADWAY SHOW! ,…. and much much more!
So does about 2,000 dollars sound ridiculous or what? I’m going to do LOTS of fundraising, for sure. Keep in mind that I also live in Oregon, so it’s about a 5 hour trip on the plane… not car. Hehe.
It’s a 9 day trip.

I have been having this nightmare and it comes back about once each month,its a very terrifiying dream to me.
I start out on the Empire State Building then somehow I fall off of it, i always hit the ground and after i hit the ground i see black for a couple of seconds then my eyes open and then my life starts to flash before my eyes and as its doing this my eyes start to close by themselves and the farther my eyes close the less i can breathe and just before my eyes finish closing and im near suffocation i manage to force myself to wake up but i can never wake up before my eyes start to close and each time i have this dream my wake up timing gets more and more late and i fear what will happen if i cant wake myself up, im really terrified to sleep now cause not only that but after the first time i had this dream i have had nightmares back to back i dont understand why.
