Im a plumbing heating tech and would like to share my knowledge
My carport took off during huricane Gustave and hit the bottom left side of our neigbors house doing little damage. This was told to me yesterday 11/7/08 my neigbor and said he was claiming it on my insurance!

the only ones I know of are loft insulation, and cavity wall insulation,but depending on your age and personal circumstances there could be others like re roofing, or central heating,which are both usually for people of pensionable age

No, not on a “home contract”. Unless you are holding the deed you can not get a loan. As he is presently the holder it is him who would get the loan.
In the movie “Elf”, there is a store across from the Empire State building. The store is called Gimbel’s, but when I went there, I didn’t check to see what the store was really called, and if it actually existed in that location. I love NYC, and I’m just wondering. haha
Not sure about that but if you go look at your state’s web site. Many states offer grant money for home improvement… especially when it involves heat and air condition weatherizing. We have had our home up for sale with a real estate agency. We have relocated because of a job change. We unexpectingly received a notice that our homeowners insurance would be cancled. We have found it impossible to find reasonably priced liability insurance being that the house is vacant. Is there any recourse?
…or other tall buildings with top-floor restaurants? For that matter, do any of them have observation decks such as you’d find at the Sears (not “Willis,” regardless of what anybody may say) Tower in Chicago or the Empire State Building in New York? Thanks to those who take the time to answer.
