I’m pretty sure it is the Empire State Building, having kept the record for 42 years. But has any building kept the title longer? Just wondering, but I don’t think so.

I loved going up the Empire State Building in NYC

I.E. The Empire State Building, Seattle Space Needle, a fire tower, ect.

I have been to the viewing deck on the Empire State Building 2 years ago. I think it was 86 stories in the air. All I know is that it was high enough to lose cell phone service.

Superman debuted in 1938. Back then, the tallest building stood at 449 ft, antenna included (Empire State Building). So if someone of Superman’s durability and increased density would jump 450 feet and come down at a good speed, with what force would he hit the ground below and how much damage would it do?
