Granted I don’t expect much of a response from the mass majority that aren’t informed.

Have you realized yet that (as an interview question) the answer they were looking for was, “I don’t know”? Employers prefer people who are able to admit they don’t know everything, over someone who pretends to know it all & won’t admit their mistakes, or that they need help with something.
