I already have The Empire State Building, New York Public Library, Rockefeller Center, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. I don’t know how much extra tie we have because it depends on when I get my butt out of bed. I’d also like some moderately priced, slightly casual restaurant ideas.
Remember:
1. Attractions within walking distance of Radio City
2. Moderately priced, slightly casual restaurants
Thank you.

My sister (aged 10) and I are going to New York City over spring break (last week of March). My dad has given us the job of looking for things that we’d like to do, but there’s so much that I don’t know where to start. We’re seeing two Broadway shows (the Guys and Dolls revival and Mary Poppins), so that’s covered. Currently, my list consists of:
-Yankee Stadium (having a look before it gets torn down)
-Queens Museum of Art
-the Guggenheim
-the Met
-Madame Tussauds Wax Museum
-Radio City Music Hall
-the American Museum of Natural History
My sister really wants to go to the Museum of Film and Television, and we would both like to go to Central Park, the Bronx Zoo, and the Empire State Building Observatory. Can anyone give me some suggestions of more attractions, shops, or restaurants that would be good for both of us, plus our dad and stepmom?

I’m 13, my little sister is 6, and my parents are in their 40’s. We want to go to lunch, the empire state building, show my sister the huge Toys Rus, and do some other shopping. Any other fun activites for us to do? We were thinking about the Natural History Muesuem. Will a 6 year old enjoy something like that? I only live like 35 minutes away from New York City and we’ve been there a lot of times, but my sister has only been there once. A Circle Line tour or another boat tour is out of the question because me and my mom get boat sick and my dad has been on it so many times. It’ll be in January, so it has to be basically indoors. Also, any good restaurant reccomendations? Not like McDonalds or anything too fancy. Maybe like a good bar and grill type of place? THANKS SO MUCH!

To go up the empire state building?
Visit ground zero?
Go to the rockerfella center?
Also what is American highstreet fashion like? In the uk we have topshop/River island etc? Is there anything similar in the US?
What are the main cosmetic/drug stores in the US, like in the UK we have boots and superdrug?
What would be an average amount of money to take for 5 days in NY…we want to visit a few places, eat out (not to extravagantly) and do some shopping (not really in designer places though) ?
Just any hints tips or places to visit woluld be great??
