Going Back To Ny For Vacation!!!! How Should I Plan This Trip?
Hey guys I’m 22 years old & a native New Yorker I moved down to Florida just about a year ago & I want to visit the greatest city in the world! My New York! I was born in Queens, but grew up on Long Island. When I was a kid I use to always LOVE going to the city during the weekends, so much fun. There’s just something about the city that puts me in my element lol ( if that makes any sense at all). So whats a reasonable amount of money I should save up? I want to stay in an hotel of course doesn’t have to be five star lol just has to be very close to the city. I’m going by myself. I plan on staying for one week. I pretty much know what I want to do. Yankee game, Empire state building, comedy show, broadway show, ….. etc some of my favorite things I use to do. Are there any good websites where I can help me plan this out? It’s funny I can save up to go any where, but I choose to visit my native NEW YORK. I hope I’m representing NY well lol Thanks guys!!!!
If you’re from New York, I’m not sure what kind of planning help you need. Yahoo Travel includes a “trip planner” that lets you piece together different activities.
YourFriendIn is a site that specializes in exactly this: have someone work with you to put together a complete personal trip plan. It’s an excellent service if you’re willing to pay for it (I’ve seen the results and they’re really well done).
Then there’s TripIt, NileGuide, TravelMuse,etc. which all offer planning help in their own way. They vary in detail and general helpfulness (YourFriendIn is the most comprehensive), so it’s really up to you to decide just what kind of help you need and which may be appropriate.

looked up ny tourism website one time found something about free things to do in the city, should be fun and random for you to do, good thing considering youre a new yorker so you probably want a different view, cheers
